Our hotel recommended this local steakhouse, and we're really glad they did! The hostess was charming, (turns out she's the owner) and got us a great corner table in the main dining room, which looked like a "Cattleman's Club", complete with longhorns over the door, and an old flint rifle mounted over the fireplace. I finally had fried green tomatoes, and they were really great. Tableside Caesar salad had great presentation, and better than any other I've had. For dinner I went a little 'wild' and tried the Buffalo London Broil - tender and delicious, I would definitely have it again. Neither of us really had room for dessert, but Bananas Fosters was worth making a little extra room. Our server, Debbie, was really great, friendly and helpful, and it was nice to sit in a dining room where you could hear yourself talk, and easier on the old wallet than in the big city. Just a really great meal, I will make it a point to visit here again whenever I'm in town. Just a word of warning, though, you might want to call ahead for a reservation. We went early and got a great table, but by the dinner hour there was a bit of a wait.

Great ambiance. Oysters on the 1/2 shell. Great filets. Wild game. Tasty halibut and lamb. For an appetizer, try the "blackened bits". Wine list could be expanded a bit.

If you like dancing, food and drinks this is your place. Everytime I'm in Tupelo this is the place I hang out, it's always a blast.

Woody's has a great menu - seafood, steaks, and wild game. Great atmosphere. The bar is alot of fun as well. Good music and good place to dance.
